Simone Mitchell is a dedicated team player, always willing to lend assistance to her colleagues. She has worked diligently every day, starting at 6:30 a.m. She goes above and beyond the call of duty, typically taking only a 10-15 minute break for lunch and frequently taking work home. She sometimes has to be told by team members and Managers, to take it easy. She has developed a reputation in the market as: accessible, friendly and competent.

A “big sister” to many, she is both respected and feared by her bosses. Many words can be used to describe her:coach, mentor etc, but unquestionably her work-ethic is second to none and she is a true “Tatilian” in every sense of the word and is the department’s resident “mother hen”.

Investments Clerk

Ann demonstrates attention to detail, professionalism and experience in all aspects of the Investment and Mortgages department, which makes her an integral member of the team. She is always willing to assist and gives her full co-operation when asked. In particular, Ann assumed all of her colleague responsibilities without hesitation, when she had to break her service following her retirement and jury duty.

A fitness guru, Annie as she commonly called, can be found jogging around the Savannah everyday and takes part in all most all aerobics competition.

This Employee of the Year became a member of the Tatil family in 2007 as a Customer Service Representative.

Randy has established excellent attendance/punctuality records and can be found at his desk from early as 6:30 on most occassions. he is a conscientious individual who performs his functions with much enthusiasm. Randy is always willing to assist the manager and his colleagues in co-ordinating team building efforts whenever the need arises.

2009 EMPLOYEE-OF-THE-YEAR

Tatil Life Assurance Limited Mrs. Lisa Davis-Roach,

This Employee-of-the-Year became a member of the Tatil Life family since August 2003. In 2009, she copped the Employee-of-the-Month award twice for outstanding performance, which continues to accelerate.

She works well with all levels of staff and supervises junior staff members in her department. In 2009, she was faced with many strict timelines and she worked long hours and on weekends to meet the department’s objectives. In addition to her commitment and dedication to her work, her attendance and punctuality have been highly outstanding throughout the year. Currently, she is pursuing the ACCA designation and consistently manages a good balance with her work and studies.

This Employee-of-the-Year has been a member of the Tatil family since October 1980. In 2009, she was a recipient of the Employee-of-the-Month award and her performance continues to soar.

She produces high quality work and always delivers on or before deadline dates. She is an excellent coordinator in ensuring that clients receive their renewals on time and also in dealing with Agents and Brokers for written motor business. In 2009, she has been the driving force in her department achieving 98% of the budget targets. In addition to her positive attitude and outstanding performance at all times, she also holds a perfect record in attendance & punctuality. She is very professional, experienced and knowledgeable in her work and holds certificates from the Academy of Insurance, the Chartered Insurance Institute and most recently from the Trinidad & Tobago Insurance Institute.
