Gingerbread Houses

Located just west of French Street on Ariapita Avenue, this home is typical of the 'Woodbrook' houses of its day. The steep pitched roof, fretwork, French-style dormer window, verandah and striped awnings are distinctive features which can still be seen in homes in Woodbrook, Belmont, Arima and other towns across Trinidad and Tobago.
